Thanks to the many people that told us to do this route through the Applecross Peninsular.
The climb through the Pass of the Cattle up to 2053 feet is definately not for learner drivers or caravans, but when you reach the summit the view accross the Inner Sound to Skye is tremendous.
Then you drop down to Applecross itself and head north along the coastroad to Shieldaig where you will see the colourful water of the Inner Sound and the beautiful scenery around Loch Schieldaig.
This is a trip that everyone should take on any trip to Scotland, although be aware that there are very few chances for shops or petrol on the peninsular.
