This was a trip down memory lane for Christine, as her family always had there annual holidays in Port Bannatyne. Although over the years the character of the place is unchanged it has lost its hussle and bussle of the 50'S & 60'S when it was a trip doon the water for the Glaswegians.
Ettrick Bay is also a lovely place and with the views of Arran it is really quiet and relaxing. The extraordinary views you encounter of the Kyles of Bute are something that remain with you for years to come. The gardens in Rothesay are beautiful and make some stunning images.
