Lochalsh is a beautiful region of Scotland, with the bridge over to Skye at the Kyle of Lochalsh. This is the route many people take now on their way over to Skye itself.
Plockton village is a beautiful place, and this is where the series Hamish McBeth was filmed starring Robert Carlyle. This village is so scenic and quaint it is a pleasure to visit, and you will find plenty of places in Plockton for a meal.
Then there is the impressive Elean Donan castle that is well worth a visit and it attracts tourists from all over the world..
Loch Carron which is a large sea loch has some fantastic viewpoints. We found the scenery the day we visited just extraordinary.
