Loch Lomond is blessed with some awesome scenery and has been recently given the status of National Park. There are many cruises from the north to the south of the loch for another vision of the area.
There is an eagerness from tourists to visit Loch Lomond and it has a lot of special qualities. Naturally water sports on the loch are a big thing these days and it is a great retreat for fishermen. From Balloch to the south or to Ardlui to the north of the loch you will be amazed at the views.
Did you know that Loch Lomond is deeper than the North Sea, and the loch has 33 islands on it. Also on a clear day you can see Ireland from the top of Ben Lomond.
