Moidart is an area that sits between Loch Sunart and the road to the Isles between Fort William and Mallaig.
It has some great scenery and has been used by a lot of movie locations to make films such as Breaking the Waves, Highlander 3 ,Local Hero and Rob Roy.
We visited this region in February and the weather was terrific, also we thought that this could possibly be the best time as in the summer the trees would hinder your views somewhat.
