Loch Tulla lies between Bridge of Orchy and Kingshouse, Glencoe. Loch Tulla is surrounded by remnants of the old Caledonian Forest. A local roadside sign proclaims "That which burns never returns". Stances of Caledonian Pines have dwindled considerably over the years
Loch Tulla is the first Loch you pass as you enter Rannoch Moor from the south and it shows just how barren yet beautiful this area really is.
For maximum appreciation of this region you must try to visit during the winter months and see how it changes when the snow arrives, although always bitterly cold it is well worth the effort to try to make a visit and see for yourselves.
