Ullapool is a busy harbour town on the north west coast of Scotland. It has a ferry if you would like to head out to the Hebridean Island of Lewis.
You have all sorts in the harbour, including large freight ships, ferry to Lewis and of course the fishing boats. Loch Broom is a beautiful loch and is normally quite full with yachts. A peaceful town on the outskirts of the northern highlands. This is the place to stock up with food or petrol before you further your journey north or to the Hebridean Islands.
